Campbell & Associates’ practice, located on Long Island, New York, concentrates on the complex area of employee benefits law.  Our clients include pension, health, welfare and other employee benefit plans and trustees, fiduciaries, employers, plan sponsors, employees and plan participants.  ERISA 510 law is another concentration.

We have a broad range of experience in both the corporate and multiemployer (union) employee benefits field, and have worked on matters involving a wide variety of plans including various pension plans (including 401K, profit-sharing, 403B, defined benefit and other types of defined contribution), medical, severance, cafeteria, dependent care and life insurance plans. 

We also offer counsel on early retirement and “buy-out” programs to both employees and employers, including Horizon 401K counsel.
 
Our involvement with benefit plans covers design and implementation, as well as ongoing advice on ERISA, ERISA 510 and related benefit issues and litigation.  We are experienced in dealing with government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Labor, the Internal Revenue Service, the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) on behalf of our clients for examinations, audits, inquiries, rulings and determination letter requests. 

In addition, we represent clients in matters involving Wage & Hour law, Workplace Rights for Veterans (USERRA) and Labor & Employment Law.
