 Daniel T. Campbell Dan Campbell has over 31 years of experience in all aspects of employment law, with a concentration on employee benefits. He received his B.A. from Queens College of the City University of New York and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is also a veteran, having served with the United States Army Security Agency in Berlin, Germany. Dan is a member of the New York State, Nassau County and American Bar Associations and is past Chairperson of the Labor and Employment Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, where he frequently lectures on employee benefits topics. He is a Co-Chair of the ABA’s Employee Benefits Subcommittee on Withdrawal Liability, as well as a former Chairperson of the Employee Benefits Committee of the New York State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section. In his position as co-chair of the ABA Employee Benefits Committee subcommittee he shares responsibility for updating the BNA treatise “Employee Benefits Law” on withdrawal liability. Dan is also a mediator with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is the former Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Floral Park, Long Island and a former Acting Village Justice for the Floral Park Village Justice Court. He is admitted to the New York Bar and the U.S. District Courts of New York, as well as various federal Courts of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Dan is a frequent speaker at employee benefits and employment law seminars for attorneys and other groups including the following: New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association and community organizations on such topics as: ERISA benefit claims, contingent workforce issues under ERISA, fiduciary responsibility, withdrawal liability, HIPAA privacy, employment law and ERISA and health care benefits.
